    • Garage Door Opener and Car Keys…Your New Best Friend

    Once again, Donna Kolb has given us some great new tips to scare off those intruders:

    1) Keep the car remote by the bed because if someone is breaking in one can hit the panic button on the remote and the car alarm will go off and scare the intruder off way before the police gets there.
    2) Do not leave the garage door opener in the car!  If someone breaks into the car they can use the opener to open and enter into the garage.  Now with that being said, these newer cars have the built in opener.  Suggestion would be to not have it turned on if the car is going to be left outside of the enclosed garage.
