After years of practice, I have become a pro at washing windows. Back in the day, when washing windows on a monthly basis became apart of my chores routine, I had a system that made washing windows affective, easy and took little time. Today, I was researching "the best ways to wash windows" and found a great article breaking-down the art of washing windows...I just wish I found this article years ago. Check out this article from Mrs. Clean, that gives us some great tips on washing windows. If you want a more thorough job on all your windows, be sure to contact Reilly Painting.
This is a hot topic when spring rolls around and you need to get all the winter dirt and grime off your windows so that the sun can come shining in!
Of course, it’s a good idea to clean the windows at the end of summer as well. But the best way to clean windows – well that’s been a debate as long as there have been glass windows.
So- Lets stop procrastinating and get those windows clean. A little elbow grease and warm water on a beautiful day and you’ll soon be able to enjoy the scenery without streaks, bugs or dirt impeding your view.
Remove Your Window Screens:
If you’re lucky you have those wonderful windows that tilt in so that you can wash both the top and bottom panes and the inside and the outside of the windows without leaving the house and without removing the screens.
If you’re not so lucky – well, first you’d better remove the screens. The easiest way is to remove all of the screens at once. Make sure they’re marked in some inconspicuous place so you know what window each screen belongs on. It’s no fun to play “guess which screen fits which window” after spending hours cleaning windows.
