As a result of having been well-satisfied with a previous job done by your firm, we contacted you to paint several rooms in our house. Once again not only were we pleased with the job performed, but we were impressed with the care they took to protect furniture and carpeting. We will not hesitate to recommend Reilly Painting to others.

  • Gas Prices To Be Lowered This Winter

    [caption id="attachment_4264" align="alignleft" width="244" caption="Gas Heat "]heat[/caption]

Dominion East Ohio and Columbia Gas will be cutting down on prices this winter. John Funk of The Plain Dealer discusses more in his article:

If you buy your gas through Dominion East Ohio or Columbia Gas of Ohio -- and pay a monthly variable rate -- you are in for a price cut even as wintry weather threatens.

Dominion's standard choice offer, or SCO, and Columbia's standard service offer, or SSO, are tied directly to the price of gas set at the end of each month on the New York Mercantile Change.

On Thursday, the NYMEX price continued its long tumble, as reports of the growing glut of gas in storage and record production of new gas has made it clear that there will be no wholesale price spikes this winter.

Dominion customers can expect to pay $4.52 per 1,000 cubic feet, starting in mid-November and running through mid-December. That's 5 percent, or nearly a quarter, less per Mcf that the October price of $4.76 per Mcf.

Columbia's SSO customers will see prices drop within days from the current 56.39 cents per 100 cubic feet to 54.04 cents per Ccf. That's a 4.2 percent, or 2.35 cents, less than the current price of 56.39 cents per Ccf.

These prices do not include delivery-related charges.

The gas prices are the lowest since last November and well below all of the fixed price contracts offered by the independent suppliers. They also are below all but one or two of the monthly variable prices offered by the independents.
