Every product has a niche of people who they cater to, or who loves that product. Eric Savitz of Forbes discusses the types of people who are always buying Apple products, in his article Who Buys Apple iPads? Rich, Male, Pet-Owning Geeks:
Ever wonder who the most likely buyers are for the Apple iPad? Market data research firm BlueKai put together a nifty infographic that shows that the most likely buyers are males, video game players and (not sure what this means) pet owners. The device is popular, too, with scientists, international travelers, apartment dwellers, vitamin takers and buyers of organic food.
Blue Kai notes that ComScore found that 45.9% of tablet owners live in households with incomes of at least $100,000 a year.
