Thanks! Your crew was great. Bruce was especially thorough, skillful and polite. A great job by all and the best paint job we've ever had. See you in the fall!

Best device to water your lawn, and it's cheap.

I have always been partial to a nice looking lawn.  Maybe that's why I enjoy playing golf.  Over the last 30 years of home ownership, I have experimented with at least 50 different devices.  I finally, finally stumbled upon the absolute best sprinkler.  No it's not one of those golf-type click click rainbird's that shoot water over a long range, and usually breakdown after one month of use.  No this baby is cast iron with one square snout like opening at the top.  It covers about 25 sq ft, and I mean this baby COVERS.   It sprays out big fat droplets of water, and in usually 15 minutes your area is puddling with water.  Then just move it to another part of your yard.  You can adjust the coverage by simply dialing back on the water pressure. Duh. How easy is that? !

Ok, your panting with anticipation.  Go to and look up

And the cost. Hmmmm... how about $8.  And this sucker will last for years.  Just get two. One for the front and one for the back.
