"Thank you for a tremendous job. Through all three parts of the work I've had done this year, Reilly has come across as total classy organization. I appreciated the professionalism and courtesy of your entire crew, and of course your good humor added to the enjoyment of what could have been a real inconvenience. My neighbors are the kind of people who ask, and I'll tell them all--with a plethora of rapturous and ecstatic enthusiasm--that I couldn't have been more pleased."

  • Why share a home?

Forest Hill Shared HomeRight out of college I knew I had to get my own place....and fast. Although I was attracted to the apartment lifestyle, there was a lot of talk surrounding shared homes with young adults. So when a spot opened up at RPC's Shared Home in Cleveland Heights, I decided to give it a shot. For the past year I've been living with graduate students and young professionals and could not imagine a better living situation. Here are some reasons why I believe a shared home is more convenient and an easier arrangement:

    1. No need to purchase furniture: Most rooms come lightly furnished with a bed, desk, drawers, and lamps. So instead of renting a U-Haul to lug all your stuff, use what's already provided.

    2. All-inclusive: Who really wants to fight about the utility bill? Landlords often include most of the utilities in the rental price. Take advantage of the all-inclusiveness to help save yourself some money.

    3. Meeting other people: One of the greatest perks of living in a shared home is getting the opportunity to meet new people. This is especially true for out-of-towners who aren't familiar with their new surroundings and need advice on the best restaurants, bars and shops. So grab a drink or meal together! Warning: if you're someone who prefers to be alone the majority of the time, then the share-a-house concept probably isn't for you.

    4. Location, location, location: If you look hard enough shared homes are often close to where you want and need to be. The Forest Hill home is around 10 minutes from colleges like Case Western Reserve, Notre Dame and John Carroll, and is close to popular attractions like the Cleveland Art Museum, Coventry restaurants/shops, and the Cedar Lee independent movie theater.
