Kiki Stout, Reilly Painting's Property Manager, has taken the time to discuss the pros of renting a home in Cleveland or Shaker Heights. Listen to what has to say! She's an expert!
Today’s real estate market has more people turning to renting than buying for many reasons. We find that out of towners are not ready to commit to either a neighborhood or their current job. There are too many unknowns in a new city. Cleveland Heights and Shaker Heights are two communities that work hard to attract incoming families and professionals. Location and the stellar housing stock are the main reasons people choose these inner ring suburbs.
Renters still need to be as diligent when searching for a rental as they would be if they were buying a home. A good landlord is like your banker or doctor. You will be dealing with them the entire length of the lease and you need to depend on them. Be sure and ask lots of questions, get referrals too. Moving costs are so expensive now a days you want to know that you can stay longer if you want to.
How was your last moving experience? Was it your dream home?
