Starting in February the Swedish retailer H&M will reportedly be launching a global initiative to get consumers to recycle their old clothes they would otherwise throw away. In return for the used goods H&M will offer shoppers a voucher for a future purchase. The fabric from the recycled clothes will be re-used for new garments or other fabric based products like rags and padding.
