Go To Meetings has been advertising a lot, promoting how simple and effective it is for colleagues to have meetings online with video conferencing and screen sharing. While one colleague could be working from their main office in Cleveland Heights, an outside consultant could be working from a Starbucks in Boston, and the two would be able to have a video meeting with Go To Meeting. GoToMeeting (by Citrix Online) is a simple online conferencing application that allows you to quickly setup web meetings. With GoToMeeting you can share online presentations, product demonstrations, and collaborate with people around the world.
With GoToMeeting you can host online meetings with up to 15 participants. If you want to host a meeting with more than 15 participants you will need to upgrade to GoToMeeting corporate, which can host up to 1,000 people.
Fuze Meeting. Ranked #2
Is a web-based online meeting service that allows you to collaborate directly through your web browser (flash plug-in required).
With Fuze Meeting you can quickly and easily collaborate with clients and team members. To get started all you need is an Internet connection and phone line. FuzeMeeting also offers an iPhone application so you can connect to your online meetings from anywhere.
Acrobat Connect. Ranked #3
Adobe had recently re-entered the web conferencing category with two new products - Adobe Acrobat Connect (for meetings with 15 people or less) and Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro (for enterprise clients).
Acrobat Connect runs inside the ubiquitous flash player, which allows you to run the application inside of your web browser.
