Putting mints in your ice-cubes is a great way to freshen up your summer time drinks. When I first heard this, I was a little taken aback. If anything, I was used to putting a lemon or lime in my water, never putting something in the ice trays. But this recipe is so easy to make, and makes your water, coke, sprite anything you want, a little more fresh. Here's what you do:
- Buy some mint leaves at the grocery store or local farmers market
- Cut up mint leaves, big enough to put in single slot in your ice tray
- Fill up ice tray with water
- Place one mint leaf in an individual slot
- Put in freezer until ready
Easy enough? Try it out and enjoy the fresher twist to your everyday glass of water.
