A romantic date night in the city of lights is a fantasy for most but thanks to the Cleveland Museum of Art and L'Albatros restaurant you can have a romantic "night in Paris" with out ever having to book a ticket. Both the Cleveland Museum of Art and L'Albatros are located in University Circle, L'Albatros was opened in 2009 by restaurateur Zack Breull. For your night in Paris I suggest you begin at the Cleveland Museum of Art where starting October 13th and running through January 21 2013, the Cleveland Museum of Art will be featuring and exhibit that will focus on the paintings of Mary Cassatt and her contemporaries like Degas, Renoir and Toulouse-Lautrec and their portrayal of women in the 19th century. The women shown in the paintings explore different visions of femininity from the bourgeois wife to the brothel, these beautiful works of art will certainly make you feel like you are in Paris. After the exhibit take a stroll or short car ride to L'Albatros which is located at 11401 BellFlower Road in Cleveland, while there you and your date can enjoy escargot and some wine. So this weekend take a trip to Paris!

"Leave it to Zack Bruell, who has been opening restaurants here for nearly 25 years, to blast into the market and create a completely French environment with the most authentic French food Cleveland has seen. He’s discovered a perfect niche for his French brasserie and bar in University Circle at the former That Place on Bellflower."
The Cleveland Museum of Art is open Tuesday through Sunday and located at 11150 East Blvd Cleveland Ohio 44106, L'Albatros is open Monday through Saturday and located at 11401 Bellflower Road Cleveland OH 44106
