This "No Impact Week" kicks off tomorrow (Oct. 13) at The University Heights Library (13866 Cedar Road) at 7pm with a screening of the documentary No Impact Man. Following this screening, the No Impact Week will begin October 16 and go through the week, ending on October 23rd. More information on this great movement below:
The No Impact Week is a one-week carbon cleanse from October 16-23 that allows participants to experience the difference lowering their impact can have on their quality of life, their community, and their planet! It’s about discovering how these lifestyle changes can increase personal fulfillment, health, happiness, and time with family and friends. Beginning Sunday, October 16 participants will work through a series of eight daily challenges, from decreasing trash production to eating locally and sustainably.
Live a greener and more connected lifestyle -- for just one week. Take 8 daily challenges to eat locally, lower your energy use, and meet your neighbors.Free and open to all Heights area residents—and all Greater Clevelanders, too! Here's what you do:
