"Eric and his crew did a masterful job of painting the walls to perfection and making sure that our chestnut woodwork was protected. He oversaw the refinishing of our living room and dining room floor that now glows. He fixed all sorts of things that got our beautiful home ready for sale. All of this Eric did with heart!"

  • Security Watch for the 21st Century

Lets face it. We live in a world now where technology is a huge factor in our day to day activities. So why not use technology for keeping our community safe. Reilly Painting is in the process of creating a community security watch, incorporating Twitter, Facebook, Apps and other technology tools. We are taking this very seriously, and need your support in making this happen!

    Here's a quick overview:

When a crime takes place in our neighborhood, a blast or notification will be sent out to every follower (Facebook and Twitter), letting them know where the robbery or vandalism took place. This can lead to several things. One, we will be aware of what neighborhood/street it took place on, preparing us to be extra safe (See our blog post on home security tips). Secondly, with an email blast we will also get the community involved, creating a discussion where if someone saw anyone suspicious walking through the neighborhood, we can discuss it and take further action by communicating with the Cleveland Heights Police Department, in making sure that person doesn't trespass again! And thirdly, having our own neighborhood security watch online, we will intimidate and scare off any burglar who tries to break-into our homes. We will be letting them know not to mess with the Forest Hill Community!

Security watches are changing. It's not enough to have a "Neighborhood Watch" sign anymore. We need to be using the tools we have now to prepare ourselves for these break-ins next time. Be sure to "Like" the Reilly Painting Facebook Page and follow us on Twitter, to get more insight on our process of creating our 21st Century Security Watch.
