With Halloween right around the corner, it's time to mark your calenders for the many festive events in Cleveland Heights. Take a look at what's on the agenda, courtesy of The Cleveland Heights Patch:
Kids in Cleveland Heights have three Halloween celebrations to look forward to.
The city’s trick-or-treat night is Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. And before the big night, Phoenix Coffee and merchants in the Cedar Lee Business District will host events of their own.
Phoenix Coffee will once again invite families to carve pumpkins at their shop on Lee Road from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, a tradition since 2004.
Bremec on the Heights donated the soon-to-be jack-o'-lanterns, and the $10 fee for the pumpkin benefits Heights Arts. Phoenix also provides candles, artistic advice, cookies and cider. Tools are available, but you can bring your own. Make sure you reserve a spot first by calling 216-932-8227.
That same evening, nearly 20 merchants on Lee Road will pass out treats to kids in costume who are accompanied by their parents from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Shawn Paul Gustafson of the new Shawn Paul Salon spearheaded the “Cedar-Lee Kids Candy Crawl.”
