Fortunately I just found out from the Shaker Heights housing inspector that everything passed inspection and that all of the violations have been successfully corrected. David did an excellent job in coordinating and assuring high-quality work on all of the many projects that were done here. We will definitely use Reilly Painting again in the future for other projects.

  • Film Review: Harry Potter and the Dealthy Hallows Part II

This past Thursday, I was lucky enough to score tickets to the midnight viewing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Knowing that the theatre was going to be packed with anticipating fans, my friends and I arrived 30 minutes early. While I was waiting for the film to start, I was refreshing my memory on what had happened in J.K. Rowling's seventh book. Being that it was the last book of the series, so many events had to happen to conclude this epic series. Since the film was split up into two parts, I was replaying the final scene in my head: Lord Voldemort stealing The Elder Wand from the deceased Albus Dumbledore. The theater went black, the distinct magical music started playing, and the movie begins where it had just left off.

As the credits appeared on the screen, I sat in my seat looking stunned and a bit sad. Today, Harry Potter for most teenagers and young adults is a huge part of our childhood, and knowing that this was the last film/book signified an end to our adolescence.  If I had to grade the movie, I would genuinely give it an A. There are several factors that make it great. For one, the stunningly mesmerizing visual effects and perfectly timed epic battle scenes. We see a phenomenal performance by Daniel Radcliffe, whose bravery mixed with fear and determination accurately depicts the true nature of Harry Potter.  But what really makes this the best Harry Potter is it's accuracy to the book. In other Harry Potter films we didn't get to see everything that happened in the book, but being that it was the final movie, they split it up in two, allowing the director (David Yates) to fill the screen with everything that we (the fans) enjoyed reading so much. It pleased me knowing that the final film was so authentic to the book, and that, I believe, is what makes this film so great.
