"Thank you for a tremendous job. Through all three parts of the work I've had done this year, Reilly has come across as total classy organization. I appreciated the professionalism and courtesy of your entire crew, and of course your good humor added to the enjoyment of what could have been a real inconvenience. My neighbors are the kind of people who ask, and I'll tell them all--with a plethora of rapturous and ecstatic enthusiasm--that I couldn't have been more pleased."

  • Summer Date Night Guide: Greenhouse Tavern

    [caption id="attachment_5479" align="alignleft" width="345" caption="Greenhouse Tavern"]Tavern[/caption]

Why not go to the Greenhouse Tavern for your weekend date night? Take a look at this great article by OHMommy, a writer for the Cleveland Plain Dealer, where she describes how it's hard for her and her husband to get some time alone, and how the Greenhouse Tavern was just what they were looking for:

The truth is: my husband and I don't get out much, alone.

Sure we have our fair share of social engagements such as dinner parties and fundraisers. However, I can count on one hand the amount of "dates" we have had in the last year alone. Dating can be expensive when you have to hire a sitter for three children.

Therefore when we schedule a date we make sure it is one that counts. Which means you will not find us filling up on empty calories at the local chain Applebees. When I heard that the Greenhouse Tavern was open for business I called my husband, "Yo. It's time for another date. Want to go out with me?"

"Sure." And with that I made our reservation for the following Friday night. I studied the menu online, fretted over which dress to wear and finalized the babysitter that week. By the time Friday rolled around I was psyched."I'm going to start out with the pea fritter." I told my husband on the drive into the city. "I'm trying to decide between the Steak Frites or the Tom Cod in Papier for my entree. Knowing me all to well, he laughed. "Why am I not surprised you checked out the menu."We arrived an hour before our reservation to allow time for a stroll down East 4th street. Hand in hand we marveled at how much it has changed since the previous Spring. People filled the streets and sat in the European like patios. The GreenHouse Tavern's well recognizable tree sign greeted us and I was pleasantly surprised at the overall decor. Not at all stuffy and just enough trendy it was the perfect combination. The staff was down to earth and casual. We immediately felt at home in this grown-up swanky version of a tavern.
