Fortunately I just found out from the Shaker Heights housing inspector that everything passed inspection and that all of the violations have been successfully corrected. David did an excellent job in coordinating and assuring high-quality work on all of the many projects that were done here. We will definitely use Reilly Painting again in the future for other projects.

  • A Different Kind of Date Night…

    Date Night Cleveland

Let's change it up this weekend folks. Instead of an evening date night, how about a Saturday morning brunch instead? You'll be busy Sunday night with the Super Bowl, so treat yourself to a great brunch at one of my favorite spots in Cleveland.

Let's start off with brunch at Bar Cento, on West 25th. This place has such a cool vibe, and the food is outstanding. Go for the breakfast pizza (it's the best in Cleveland). Perfect meal to share for two. Read up on Bar Cento, and some of these reviews Clevelanders and visitors wrote.

Bar Cento, located in historic Ohio City, offers a creative European-inspired menu that focuses on regional and sustainable ingredients sourced from local farms and purveyors. The cuisine is served with a rustic presentation inside the sophisticated yet comfortable dining room, accented with haute-bucolic décor and a sixteen seat bar built using wood from a reclaimed Amish barn.

    Yelp Reviews

"I went down there on an extremely cold winter night and had an amazing time. The pizza is just amazing! I had the mushroom pizza and I loved the thin and crunchy crust. The cheeses in the pizza were different from any I had before which is crazy amazing based on the amount of pizza I eat. The Festivus beer had just the right amount of spice and went down well. I followed it with a Belgian Doble Boccok." - Daniel D, Rocky River

"The food and beer selection is amazing, and the service was very friendly and helpful with navigating a small, unique menu. We had the egg pizza, which was incredible and the squid gniochetti, which was also very good". Rick S, New Baltimore MI

Our second destination is a Cleveland Landmark...The West Side Market. If you're looking for the best ingredients for your Super Bowl dinner, then you're in the right place. Fresh pasta, fresh bread, great meat and fish, fresh produce, desserts, you name it....they got it. They're closed on Sunday, and open on Saturday from 7am - 6pm. Bring your grocery cart or extra bags because you'll end up buying way more then you anticipated.

Today the market is home to over 100 vendors of great ethnic diversity. You can find not only fine meats and fresh vegetables, but also fresh seafood, baked goods, dairy and cheese products, and even fresh flowers. There are also booths that sell ready-to-eat foods, herbs, candy and nuts.

So it looks like your Saturday morning is set. Enjoy a good sleep in, grab some coffee and head down to West 25th. Happy Friday everyone!
