"Eric and his crew did a masterful job of painting the walls to perfection and making sure that our chestnut woodwork was protected. He oversaw the refinishing of our living room and dining room floor that now glows. He fixed all sorts of things that got our beautiful home ready for sale. All of this Eric did with heart!"

Whether your garden is full of flowers or vegetables, there is always the constant battle of fighting weeds. Gardeningtipsidea.com has great advice on everything from planting flowers, to growing tomatoes, to battling weeds. Check out the website for more tips like these:

    Flowers:

Some flowers become big so you need to space them apart adequately. Flowers which don't mind being crowded can be planted close together. Some flowers don't like too much sun and others need it. Some flowers prefer sandy soil, some like a lot of clay and others like different soil types. It is best to check the seed packet label for more advice on how to grow flowers.

    Tomato Vines:

When growing vine tomatoes it is best to prune them since left to grow uncontrolled they will spread up to 10 feet or more. This reduces the size of the fruit so keeping them pruned will allow bigger tomatoes to form. Using plastic mulch around the base of the tomatoes will also allow the soil to stay warm so that the plant can absorb the phosphorus that is present. This is important in areas where the weather is still cool when the plants are first transplanted.

    Weeds:

There are several techniques for controlling your Vegetable garden weeds. The use of herbicides, homemade,Vinegar or Plants and any types of weed killer in the garden is one method. Not every product kills every weed. If it did, it would kill your beneficial plants too. The herbicides should be used sparingly or not at all.
