"Just a quick follow-up note on the work your crews did at my house over the last couple of weeks. In short; the porch railing, painting and tuck pointing was done professionally and looks great. More important, the crews that were out were customer service oriented, thoughtful, friendly and always let me know what was going on. I would not hesitate to recommend Reilly Painting."

  • The Rise of Cleveland

Cleveland has been getting a lot of (well-deserved) national attention lately. Named by Men’s Journal as one of the “50 Best Places to Live in America” followed the economic uptick from March Madness games being held at the Q, not to mention the Republican National Convention that rolls into town the summer of 2016. Historically called the Sixth City, Cleveland even ranked seventh in "America's Best Food Cities" for 2015. We can’t help but to think the increase in temperature is adding to the excitement.

It’s safe to say “The Land” has a renewed focus. Transitioning from the Rust Belt to new jobs, affordable housing and top-notch entertainment has been the backbone of Cleveland’s transformation over the past few decades. You could say the city is being rehabilitated similarly to the way its buildings that were constructed during it’s heyday in the 1920’s.

The momentum only seems to be growing. The city and local businesses have invested in themselves, whether that’s a pedestrian bridge that connects major destination points or downtown’s first full-service grocery store. Prominent suburbs and neighborhoods haven’t gone unnoticed. From Cleveland Heights to Lakewood, neighborhoods like Ohio City and University Circle have become more accessible and livable. It’s no secret that young professionals are relocating for the nightlife and amenities, but even baby boomers have shifted to a more urban environment.

We are certainly partial, but there’s a lot to love about the city of Cleveland right now. If you are looking to experience life in Cleveland, check out our Properties page for affordable housing in great locations.
