"I finally got the bathroom of my dreams. JT, Marco and Mike are to be commended for their great work. My husband and I were impressed by the quality of their work. They were professional in conduct and neat. As for Dave, he is our guy. We have the utmost trust in what he says because he is honest."

Our friends at The Cleveland Heights Patch have written a story updating the public that the new Cleveland Heights website has been delayed. Michelle Simakis discusses further:

The new and improved ClevelandHeights.com was supposed to launch sometime in September or October.

But the company redesigning the site, Vision Internet, is adding more interactive features, so the project was pushed back to late January or February, said Mayor Ed Kelley.

“It is a little bit longer than what we expected but on the other hand I’m looking forward to it,” Kelley said.

City Council passed a resolution at Monday’s meeting to pay Vision Internet a change order of $3,000 for the additional services. And the city will pay $250 a month for hosting services for a one-year term. If the city should renew the hosting fees, they will increase 5 percent each year. The initial contact for the redesign, which includes three subsites for the police department, Cain Park and the recreation department, onsite training for staff and tech support, was not to exceed $45,260, according to council documents.

Vision Internet, based in Santa Monica, CA, specializes in developing government sites, according to its website, and in the past 15 years has created 400 sites for small towns and big cities.

The company was one of four invited to do an on-site presentation out of 15 proposals the city received, according to council documents. City Council passed a resolution to hire Vision Internet June 20.
